• Information: Birds Eye chili is one of the most common varieties of chili peppers in the world. Birds Eye chili peppers typically grow upwards on a very tall slender plant and are harvested when the peppers are 3-4cm long and dark red in color.
• Measuring over 100,000 on the Scoville scale, Birds Eye chilies originate from African countries and are best known for their use in sauces such as Piri-Piri and Tobasco.
• Germination & Care: Germination temperature ranges from 22°C to 28°C (germination period: 8-21 days). Plants should be placed in a sunny, sheltered location with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. Move the plants outdoors only when temperatures remain consistently above 12°C.
• Chili Spice level: 5/10 (Spicy).
