About this item

• Place bait in the bait well, set trap and place so that the bait pedal is facing a wall or solid object, where activity has been seen
• Place traps in areas where rats are likely to move between hiding places and food or water sources.
• Block any holes and passgeways to force rats into the area the traps are set
• Store foodstuffs securely and practise good hygiene to prevent further infestations. If there is an alternative food source for the rats, they may not show interest in the bait in the traps
• When trapping outdoors, ensure the traps are covered with a lean to board, this also helps prevent non-target species from harm
• Allow 48 hours for intial catch. If no catch, tray an alternative bait or move the traps to an alternative site
• Place in areas that are inaccessible to children, pets and non-target species
